Do my photos leave my device?
Editing runs locally. Export checks send a small request to Cloudflare, which uses your IP to enforce 10 free exports per network per UTC day. Browser cloud saving uploads only the export after you consent. No account is required.
Why won’t my HEIC image open?
HEIC decoding is device dependent in browsers. If your browser cannot decode it, use the native iOS converter or export a JPEG from Photos. No server upload fallback happens silently.
Can I keep my capture date?
Browser canvas exports remove source metadata, including embedded capture date. A file’s creation date and the Photos asset date are separate values. Native metadata preservation is limited to formats and properties ImageIO supports.
Why is my PNG export larger?
PNG uses lossless compression and photographic images can be large. Choose JPEG or WebP for a smaller lossy file, with your preferred background when transparency is present.
Can I delete duplicates here?
The web tool reviews explicitly selected files with SHA-256. It cannot scan or delete your Apple Photos library. No automatic deletion occurs.
How do I get support?
No support operator is configured in this development build. For deployment, set a real monitored support address and legal operator details before launch.
